Allowing ourselves to be seen also means allowing others to misinterpret, love, hate, support, or pray for our demise as they will. I don’t think it’s ever easy… but it gets easier the more we recognize that not everyone’s gonna agree with or like what we have to say but we’re just gonna show up anyway.
